When selling your gold and silver jewelry, scrap or otherwise it is best to deal with reputable local dealers. But where do the local dealers sell their collected metals? Jewelers, brokers, dentists, and pawn shops from around the country ship their scrap gold and silver to The Gold Center.
Remove the middle-man by selling directly to the Gold Center and receive the same payout that a dealer would have received.
Do you have scrap gold and silver jewelry that is just sitting in your collection gathering dust and in the way of your other items? What about that piece you no longer want to wear?
You can resell these items to a refinery for top dollar or you can sell to a pawn shop who then sells it, for profit, to the refiner. As you can guess, it would be best to skip those seedy shops and sell direct. But Naples doesn’t have a refiner does it? That is, until The Gold Center moved into town earlier this year.
Most would recommend selling your scrap gold and silver to a local dealer such as local jewelers and pawn shops. Do you ever wonder where these companies sell their scrap gold and silver? They sell to a refinery, who then melts it all down to be put back into industrial and public circulation.
The Gold Center has been refining precious metals for companies all over the U.S. for more than 40 years, and now they have moved their headquarters to the heart of Naples, Florida.
The International Economic Development Council (IEDC) designated the week of May 6 – May 11 as Economic Development Week 2019.
This week celebrates the achievements of economic development efforts locally and globally and raises awareness of economic development programs that support job creation, businesses retention and expansion, and an overall prosperous economy and quality of life.
The Gold Center was proud to be a part of the diverse businesses in Collier County that we visited during Economic Development Week!

The US Mint has announced that limited mintage 2019-W quarters are being released directly into circulation starting this month, April 2019. These are the first quarters to feature the “W” mint mark of the West Point Mint, and have a total mintage of just 2 million per design.
“We want to encourage Americans to consider coin collecting by making the W mint mark quarters only available in general circulation,” said United States Mint Director David Ryder.
The Mint last year produced 1.85 billion quarters for circulation, ranging from 289.6 million to 439.8 million across the five 2018 issues. To learn more about the W Mint mark quarter, please visit the U.S. Mint website.
